Polk County Fair

Today we went to the Polk County fair and met up with the Jenkins clan. We arrived fairly early and stopped by the rabbit and poultry barn first. Madison instantly took a liking to the rabbits and wanted to watch them all day. We found an interesting breed called a "lionhead." Its a pretty neat looking rabbit. The next stop was the sheep and we went through that quickly as Madison did not like them, she didn't care much for the horses, or cows either, but she did pet a goat. Her favorite part was the wild animal exhibit where she got to see a young Bengal tiger. After the fair we stopped by the farm and got some fresh blueberries that Mavis and Greg had picked the day before, they are excellent!
